Advancing Kosovo Together – Local Solutions (AKT-LS) Program Begins With Grants Information Sessions in Six Kosovo Municipalities

March 16, 2015 - Today USAID’s AKT-LS Program gathered more than 40 representatives from business sector and civil society organizations of the Peja/Pec region, at the Program’s first Grants Information Session. This is the first of six information sessions that the Program will hold during this week in the following Kosovo municipalities: Mitrovica North, Vushtrri/Vučitrn, Gračanica/Graçanicë, Klokot/Kllokot and Štrpce/Shtërpce.

The aim of the information sessions is to inform potential beneficiaries/organizations about grants opportunities offered by the Program. USAID through the AKT-LS Program will be offering funding opportunities for Micro and Small Enterprises (and Start-ups), Small and Medium Enterprises, and Civil Society Organizations, which operate in these municipalities.

The last Grants Information Session will be held in Štrpce/Shtërpce municipality on March 19th, 2015.
